...TenFeet2Hands,

Wow! Well I think that MJ had issues, number one being that he missed out on his own childhood and was sort of regressed. number two being that he did not let his mind get out of the childlike comfort zone, that place of innocence. We all grew up around him and became aware of our thoughts and the bad things in the world around us. Children do not think this way and when he said that children need to cuddle for comfort. I think that is true. And IF it is possible that an adult exists with the mind of a child and the genius of a demigod then it was Michael with his towering talent and bottomless naiveté.

As for the loss of Farrah. She was always the angel of the 80s to me. I spent hours in front of the mirror feathering my hair and making it stand up to the Farrah code.

And the most shocking loss this week was Billy Mays II who seemed to have a fully charged battery of energy.

idk idk so sad..What's worse is that these were all younger deaths then we should be expecting, we should all take better care of ourselves (my generation).Juanitahttp://www.juanitachronowski.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088668303817033033.post-3493712328209911712009-06-29T08:44:12.112-04:002009-06-29T08:44:12.112-04:00Congratulations Michael!
This is a well written ...Congratulations Michael!

This is a well written article covering sensitive and sensationalized events which have helped shape the social and cultural attitudes of this country since the 1980’s. Farrah passed as quietly as a ripened leaf falls from a tree--her disease marked her passing and her family was prepared for the end. Acceptance is quite another phase of being human--the phases of death precede none the speedier when we understand it is eminent.

Michael Jackson--I had two young sons when The Jackson’s appeared on the scene and my sons and I loved their music, cartoon series and concerts. When the docudrama of his family and career aired on Cable, I, as a psychologist, learned much of what made Michael so eccentric and aloof when off camera. We lived through his musical hits and his self-reconfiguration we also were set-aback by his legal problems. When you have that, much money and little or no formal higher education your whims are juvenile and self-image is unconventional.

I, personally, will miss Michael, his music and the tabloid speculations of what he might be about--now no one can define him and his children just might be able to live a useful life with and by the help of certain family members. I think that Janet may step in as the children’s mentor. She is the most stable and was the closest sibling to Michael-she has remained a loyal sister and confidant through the years. I agree with the supposition of Michael’s feelings for and about children--psychologically, he was a protective figure in many ways of children and he certainly based that on what he would have changed about his very young years becoming a star under the management of his father.

I said this before and it bears repeating here. You can dislike someone for many things yet, their accomplishments valid, celebrated, awarded and revered by Presidents (2) and millions around the World cannot be dismissed.

Again--a well written article, a pleasure to read.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16079009835744935145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6088668303817033033.post-47587637449123674462009-06-29T08:41:40.935-04:002009-06-29T08:41:40.935-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16079009835744935145noreply@blogger.com
